Samsung Flip interactive whiteboard released in Australia

Traditional whiteboards are on their way out. No more smudges, pungent chemical-pens or wiping the board clean whenever you need more space. Samsung is bringing the humble whiteboard into the 21st century with Samsung Fl!p (Flip).

The Fl!p is an electronic, fully-interactive whiteboard with the ability to rotate 180 degrees to be displayed vertically or horizontally. The premise of the Fl!p is to encourage a more interactive and collaborative experience, with the ability to recognise four people using the board at once with their own styles to separate each user’s notes and drawings.

With either your fingers or the specialised electronic pen, users can write notes, draw designs and scribble over presentations, images or simply use the board as a blank space for creative thought. If used as a blank workspace, the Fl!p can store up to 20 scrolling pages to avoid losing notes or constantly clearing away your scribbles.

The Fl!ip can connect to other smart devices, with the ability to import content from your phone or laptop via NFC, wireless connectivity, or ports such as HDMI. Once you’re finished, content can be downloaded onto USB or external hardrive or saved on a password protected central database, where content can be shared via email.

Designed with workspaces or schools in mind, the Samsung Fl!p certainly brings teamworking into a new era.

The Samsung Fl!p is now available in Australia for around $3,500 AUD (stand sold separately).
